Most of Linda's prints are giclee` prints on canvas. These prints will look and feel like original paintings.
Roughly translated, giclee` is French for "to sprinkle ink". Technically speaking it is a digital method of fine art printing. The original image is digitally captured with a high resolution camera directly to the computer where it may be manipulated (tweaked) and finally sent to a high resolution inkjet printer. The ink is sprinkled on to your choice of media @ 1440 droplets per square inch utilizing piezo electric technology. Retaining all the contrast and rich, intense colour with a broad range of tonal value. Boasting an impressive 150+ year life under normal conditions. A giclee` print is often mistaken for an original due to this method of printing.
